Lauderhill Municipal City Complex, City of Lauderhill
Design of New City Complex with tilt-up wall construction. Floor system is to be bar joist with a metal deck. Each floor was designed for varying floor loading for specific requirements. A number of value-engineering evaluations were carried out to keep the project within budget and schedule. Lakdas/Yohalem Engineering Inc. provided Structural Engineering of Record, Threshold Inspection Services, and Special Inspection Services for this project.

City of Pompano Beach Library

This project involved designing and constructing a new library and cultural center on a vacant tract of land roughly 2.6 acres in size that lies north of S.W. 1st court and spans from Cypress Road to the east to S.W. Street on the west. Lakdas/Yohalem Engineering Inc. provided Structural Engineering of Record, Threshold Inspection Services, and Special Inspection Services for the newly built Pompano Beach Cultural Center and Library.
Hollywood City Fire Station

Dania Beach Fire Station No.1 Wind Mitigation, Dania Beach
The Fire Station No. 1 was originally constructed in the late 90’s, located at 116 West Dania Beach Boulevard. The site is composed of several structures, including the Fire Station Building, Fire Administration Building, CBS Building, Training Tower, and the Swanson House. The Fire Station holds the apparatus bay, service area, dormitory area, generator room, and storage area; the Fire Administration Building holds the chief office and additional administrative offices. Lakdas/Yohalem Engineering Inc. (LYE) scope of services included the structural evaluation of the exterior envelope of the buildings. LYE tasks included data collection and survey, preparation of technical Memorandum, design services, bidding services, and engineering services during construction.
